Is it safe to fill up hard drive with only 19 g...

My MacBook Pro Mid-2012 had been acting wonky so I decided to give it to my uncle's young kids and get a 2017 MacBook Air because it is all I can afford. I love the new computer but it has only 128 gigs and no DVD drive. Since my favorite show was taken off Netflix and I bought it in DVD that I can't use now, I downloaded the entire show (about 75 gigs) from a website onto my computer. I have about 19 gig left. I only plan on using the remaining space to write Pages documents consisting of 200-2000 words a piece. I use Spotify Premium for my music and I don't download music. I don't have any other way to watch my show and I have Aspergers and watch the same show over and over. I don't do any intensive stuff on it and having the videos hasn't slowed my Mac down at all. I just want to know if it is safe to have so little space on my hard drive. I can't buy a space upgrade. Thoughts?

Mixed options on hard drive space. Generally, SSDs fare better with minimal space than rotational drives. You should get a warning when the drive space is critically low, but I would keep a close eye on it. Alternatively, you could use an external hard drive to store your show and play it from there. Or, you could get an external optical drive.

Also, remember when you update, you'll need space for the download.
