How to change appearance of iPad alarm screen?

I have an iPad Air 2 (circa 2012), which is my beloved "at-home" iPad. Among other uses, it functions as my alarm clock in the mornings, using the standard iOS Clock app.

Here's my problem: I have awful eyesight, and it's generally worse in the mornings. When the alarm goes off, I randomly stab at the bottom 1/4 of the screen with my index finger, hoping I'll land on the inexplicably small "OK" to turn it off. It usually takes 6 or more attempts to find the .25"x.25" area, which adds a touch of annoyance to any morning.

Here's my question: Is there any way I can customize the alarm screen so "OK" is larger (much larger), ideally in a colored button format? It seems to me that there should be a way to make it easier to turn the alarm off. It can be an option for those of us who don't tend to snooze, with the standard setup having the tiny "OK".

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
