What about families with seven or more people?

I have a wife and five kids.  All seven of us have iPads.  Two of us have iPhones.  There are Apple TVs everywhere as well as Macs.  Apple's definition of a family is up to six people - this arbitrary limit does not make sense.  The way I setup the accounts, my youngest daughter is not included with my family.

For Microsoft related devices in my home (yes, I have some of those as well) - all of us are in one single family and can be managed from the family view.  I don't understand why Apple chose the "six" figure - the fragmentation makes most of Apple services irrelevant to how Apple would like for me to use them and how I would like to utilize them.

You would have to ask Apple why they (and presumably the content providers) decided on six, as far as I know they haven't said.
