Apple Watch 3 Cellular

On Apple Watch 3 with Cellular call, is the sim card to be used the same number with the iPhone or 2 different sim card numbers?

Apple Watch uses the same phone number (and it is not possible to change this).

During the presentation they said that you keep the number you have on the iPhone.

I am happy of that if that's the case.

So it means that you have 2 sim cards having one number, right?

Since 2015, I've been trying to ask our local networks here if this thing is possible having 2 sim cards for calling using only one number.

The SIM is built in to Apple Watch, but yes - the same number is used across both SIMs.

My doubt is, is this like handoff functionality that you get the call across your devices thru your Apple ID? That without internet, it doesn't work?

Or, it can use as a Standalone Cellular call without internet, not because it is connected to the same Apple ID?

The feature uses the cellular data network, not your Apple ID.
