Suggested passwords are not saved when using so...

Suggested passwords seem often not saved in the keychain when using apps instead of Safari. Trying to use keychain in Apps (Appleid, myChevy, Onstar) has always been a disaster. (Obscure password accepted, but not saved.) It looks an attempt has been made to resolve the problem, but still (with some apps?) the suggested password is changed in the app, but not in the keychain. Anybody had better luck?

I don't believe the Keychain was designed to work with every app out there for saving user passwords. I resolved this for myself by using AgileBits 1Password. Never looked back after doing so. (Note: I don't work for AgileBits, but have been using 1Password with multiple devices (macOS, iOS, & Windows) for a number of years and have not had any issues doing so.)
