Reboot / Software

IMG_7901.jpg

Hi, does anyone knows what is happening with my macbook? Once I start it, it goes "the matrix" and shows this codes until it restarts again all by itself. Can anyone help me, please ? Because Apple support can't.

This is a kernel panic.

Remove all the peripherals connected with your computer and restart in safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support then tell us if the issue is still there.

In the meanwhile you should tell us:

- The Mac you're using

- The version of the OS

- If you made any changes in the HW configuration (added RAM, changed the disk etc. etc.)

- If you made any changes in the SW configuration (like installing a new OS or an update etc. etc.)

Thanks getangar !

So, Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2010.
I don't remember exactly the version of the OS, but I can tell you that my mac bugged on January and I had the latest Yosemite back then. I believe I can't install Sierra on it because it seems to be too old. I've changed, in 2014 or 2015 my HD to one with 1 ter, so I could install windows to run some apps to do molecular stuff... anyway this windows I barely used and I had Kaspersky, all up to date though. And I had to change the battery in 2014.

I guess that's all.

Well, your Mac should support even macOS High Sierra: How to download macOS High Sierra - Apple Support (despite I would upgrade only in case you have at least 8Gb of RAM).

Go ahead with what I said before: start in Safe mode after having removed all the peripherals and see if you have the same problem. In case of RAM upgrade, try to install the original RAM and check again.

Let us know.
