MBP 13" touchbar + Boot Camp + Windows 10 wifi ...

Both 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi connection works fine in OS X but when I boot to Windows 10 via Boot Camp I am getting wifi issues. Connecting to 2.4ghz would result in really slow internet speed and I am not able to connect to 5ghz at all. 


What should I do?

I wiped my the boot camp partition and recreated the boot camp and reinstalled windows 10 and now neither 2ghz or 5ghz wifi is connecting even on open network.

Did you install the Windows Support Software according to the Boot Camp instructions?

This seems to be automatically downloaded and installed when using Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows 10. Even when I manually download and save it to a USB drive and try to install it post Windows installation, it says I already have the latest drivers installed.

 

This is from the Win10 Pro 64bit ISO downloaded directly from Microsoft and installing from the ISO saved to local drive without a license yet. (Need to make sure it works before purchasing)

 

Will try to move the ISO a USB drive and installing it to see if this will make a difference.

I have the exact same problem. I can't connect to 5ghz, and my 2.4ghz connection has really slow speeds (about .5 mbps). Every once in a while the speed will jump up, but it's rare and inconsistent.

This is a Windows driver issue that comes with boot camp. More reports of the issue here

idk if you resolved this issue but this seemed to help me:

 

Open device manager and right click -> properties on the Broadcom network adapter

Select the "Advanced" tab

Select the "Bandwidth Capability" item in the list

Change the value to "11a/b/g:20mhz"

Connect to your network

Compre la macbook pro touch bar y al conectarme a una red wifi es muy lento y se calienta

 

Ya actualice los controladores y aun continua el problema.

Yes, this resolved the issue. Thanks! They have not fixed it until now. (I have just done a Windows 10 clean install). I wonder why it works as my WiFi router is set to n only, while that setting is for a/b/g.

Thank you!  Was about to give up. This solved my issue.
