Where are the 4k and HDR movies?

On my iPad Pro, some of the purchased movies now have a "HDR" or "Dolby Vision" icon. The same movie in iTunes (12.7) is shown as HD only.

Given that the 5k iMac (running MacOS 10.13) can do both HDR and 4k, why don't I get the movies in this resolution / quality? Is there a setting that I am missing?
