How to add an HTML signature to Mac Mail OS Sierra

I have purchased an HTML email signature with clickable links for, FB, Li etc.  It also has my company logo, but for some reason when I cut and paste it into my signature for mail, it will not show any of the buttons or graphics.  The only thing that shows up is text and links to email address and street address.  I had installed it initially following directions cutting HTML code and pasting it into textmate etc.  It was way over my head but worked......initially.  When I updated, it seems to have messed something up and I now have wasted SO much time trying to correct this.  Can anyone help?

I did it and it worked beautifully. There is a link in the beginning of the video that tells you how to unlock your hidden files. You'll need to click on it to be able to access the signature file.

Didn't work, followed the tutorial step by step.  All I keep getting in the signature is text. All the logos and links don't even show up.  I'm so fed up and have now waisted another 4 hrs trying to figure this out.  I would be happy to pay someone to fix this.  If I take it in to an Apple Store with an appt, would someone be able to set it up?  I'm at the end of my rope  

What HTML tool are you using? I used Dreamweaver CC2015 and got it to work in MacMail, G-Mail, and even on my iPhone signature (all with an animated GIF image too). MacMail was the trickiest, but the instructions I used in the link above worked flawlessly. Make sure your images are hosted. that's SUPER important.

I am now using TextEdit to cut and paste the code, just like the video suggested.  This was working on this Laptop at one point and continues to work on my iPhone 6,  signature works every time.  I have reset my mail app following instructions from another thread.  I am starting fresh, but before I start following the video instructions again, what do you mean by "Hosted" images?

When you build an HTML file, your images need to be added to a web host (I use an FTP to upload them), then source them back to the file's URL. Otherwise, they reside on your local machine and only you can access them if you're on the same machine on the same IP address. Here's an example of a hosted image line:

As you can see, the "https://www.holisticbusinesssolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/HBS-email200 x100.png" is a hosted image and will render in any email signature because the recipient of the email signature's computer will source the image URL from the web and display the image.

You are going to a lot of trouble to create something that a lot of your email recipients will not see. Many recipients turn off html and images in their email because they can be sources of web bugs/trackers and other invasive monitoring, not to mention it takes up bandwidth and space.

Do you have a solution for me?  Im sure you can appreciate the fact that I have no idea who you are, and you have offered an opinion which was not asked for.  If you have any knowledge on the topic, I would certainly appreciate your help.  Thanks

What you are saying makes sense.  I did not build this signature myself, I purchased it from Fiverr.  The creator simply sent me a link, which I downloaded and now have on my desktop that looks like a little piece of paper with HTML on the bottom of it.  When I double click it, it takes me to the location of the signature.  The company logo, clickable social media links etc are all visible and they work perfectly.

I have a lot of knowledge of the subject. I was merely adding to the conversation some info that may help you with your quest and subsequent use of images in signatures once you've understood what has already been posted. The solution has already been provided but you keep asking. So given the time and effort you are putting into this I thought I would interject a pertinent piece of information for your consideration going forward. Good luck in your quest.

The youtube video with the sollution is great.

But we are in the 21 Century, using Sierra, it might have a easier way to do this!!!
