Tempo & Midi effects

Hello,

 

My hardware step sequencer tempo at 100BPM does not match my logic tempo at 120 when I hit play on my Logic.

So this creates problems with the metronome being too fast when I listen to the metronome.

My hardware is set to external, as a slave. Although if I recall correctly when I recorded the sequence, into logic I used the internal hardware tempo and the midi notes therefore recorded in Logic, presumably then when Logic was at 120bpm since I was not playing with the metronome but by my hardware step sequencer rhythm. Kind of Berlin school of electronic music. Any help settings in the midi of my logic or any other thing as always appreciated so the sequence I recorded from my step sequencer matches that of my Logic or preferably vice versa, that is with the original tempo of my step sequencer, that is at 100BPM.

 

On another note:

I wish to use my external synths hardware, as an instrument in Logic, so I can apply the logic's reverb, delay effects etc ..  I have created an external instrument and checked the box as well. Set all the midi channels and midi interface and my module plays. However, the instrument channel meter does not move at all and only the ARP effects plugins in logic effect my midi sound. But for the rest, like reverb, delay etc. no effect.

So, I was thinking, if  I have to plug the other pair of outs that I have behind my hardware module into my in's of my Interface as well to be able to see the meter moving and use the effects, but then, does not that involve creating an audio track as well? I do not wish to record audio in logic, as My monitoring is via my analogue mixer, straight into my DAT recorder, speakers etc ... One of my modules my JD990 and currently, all my instruments are going into my line inputs of my analogue mixer, including the outs of my audio interface.
