Is there a way to synchronize iMessage conversa...

I'm trying to do a continuity of my messages created on my iPhone. I already synced everything and added my phone number to both devices. What I'm trying to do is continue my conversations on my Mac. It only lets me start new conversations but previous ones don't synchronize at all.

Is it possible or that too "futuristic" for Apple?
