Rental cost in SD raised 50%

Worldwide, Apple iTunes has raised the cost to rent a movie
in SD by 50%! The price of renting SD is now the same as in HD!

I approached iTunes Store Customer Support but one of the Senior Advisors wrote me that the prices of items aren’t determined by Apple; to please contact my local content provider!

However, if the price has been raised worldwide it CANNOT be a local decision!

My FEELING is that it is an error because this change in price is since iOS11 and since Apple introduced 4K movies in the iTunes Store.

Surely it can’t be that you now charge the same for SD as HD, making it a 50% increase in SD? But if it is a change in policy, please state so.

Many people worldwide, like me, do not have HD and we do not want to pay the HD price to watch in SD.

Please can you clarify?
