How to Disable "are you sure to remove from icl...

It may just be me ... but it seems it is a little cumbersome to have to click on this prompt, especially when its every time I move a file away from my desktop. Could it be possible to add a way to not come up every time? I have been unable to find a fix for this.

Not to be flippant, but stop syncing your desktop with iCloud is one way.

The prompt is likely there for the people who would scream if it wasn't. As in "why didn't Apple tell me I was deleting this file from iCloud and other icloud devices"

Due to the nature of the syncing feature(s) and the typical user, there are a number of users who may not realize what happens when you remove content from a synced folder.

I'll bet there is a 10th level OSX Terminal wizard who knows what to type in to suppress the message. Not me.

BTW - you don't have to click on it - since the "Move" option is defaulted, you can just hit the Return key. Just makes it a bit easier.

Cheers,

I have found a very simple answer. - in Finder Preferences there is an option under Advanced to disable warnings "before removing from iCloud Drive"
