High Sierra and SSDs

My 2011 Mac mini has a primary drive of SSD with the original HDD as a backup drive. I also have an external HDD on which I store a cloned version of the content of the SSD using SuperDuper, and a WD Mybook external drive which is used to store my music files for use by Sonos.

If I choose to install HS with the new Apple File System, what’s going to happen with the other drives?

Will SuperDuper make a new clone of the SSD in the new AFS?

Will my WD Mybook have problems if/when I want to store more music that has been transferred to the SSD?

Apple seem to have introduced much uncertainty for their users by introducing a new AFS which does not appear to cater for the use of both SSD and HDD with one machine. Not all users have cutting edge knowledge!

Yet Mr Cook says that Apples intention is to make the use of their products easier for all.
