my macbook air is not appearing on my devices o...

I'm trying to have my apple music on my macbook but its not showing up on browse. it says however that i am connected to my iCloud and on my phone iCloud works.

Your Mac would need to be running OS X Yosemite or higher in order for it to appear in your iCloud Devices list on the iCloud.com website under Settings.

The devices and computers listed there are only those that are signed into that iCloud account and which are running iOS 9 or higher for iOS devices and OS X Yosemite or higher for Macs.

It does not change your ability to use Apple Music.

I am using OS X 10.9.5 and my macbook is not showing in the devices list?

You need to be using Yosemite 10.10 or higher for it to show in the list.
