Recommended antivirus scan?

I recently opened an email from a recognized contact with a link.  Determined that the email was in fact not from my friend and now suspect a virus.  What antivirus scan is recommended?

There are no viruses that affect macOS. The worst you may have downloaded was Windows malware which cannot run on a Mac. With few exceptions, anti-virus products for Mac are generally unreliable and destabilizing.

None, unless you opened the link from within Windows. Otherwise, the most you'll need to do is manually clear out your Downloads folder.
