Why won’t this message delete from my watch

I have one message on my Apple Watch that will not delete from the list. Every other message is gone. And when I click on the message there is nothing there, but back to the list is shows the phone number and first part of the message. My watch is up to date. I tried restarting it. It took 5 minutes to restart. What is happening?
