New External Hard Drive Wont Mount After Data T...

I hope the community can help with this.  I have tried a LOT of sultions but so far nothing works.  I have tried updates on the air and first aid on the external drive .

I just purchased a new glyph blackbox pro 3TB. It appeared to be fully functioning upon delivery (powered up and looks like its in pristine shape) ... I used it for the first time earlier this week. Something happened soon after I began using it.  Now it powers up (green light flashing) but my mac cannot find the drive or does not recognize it

Tuesday night I plugged it in to my mac laptop, powered it up, and saw that it was listed as an external drive ... I then partitioned the drive, designating 1.5 for backups and 1.5 for the automatic time machine backups. Smooth process so far.

I transferred my files over from my macbook air (the Ssd was full) to the glyph external drive, deleted the originals from my mac to free up drive space, and then ran the time machine application which showed up as competed and fully functioning. 128 GB transferred in about 20 min time

Maybe an hour later noticed that the drive was not showing up in "my computer" and the pop up notification "drive removed without being ejected" warning was on my desktop.

As of right now I have been attempting to trouble shoot the issue but i cannot get the drive to reappear on my mac. It appears to be powered up and has a tight connection to the laptop via USB... but it simply isn't recognized by the computer.

Update: it now "sees" the glyph drive but it wont mount and my macbook air cannot see the partitioned drives

I am at a loss. All my videos and all my pics are are the drive.

I have been told to use Disk Warrior - would that helpor would that be a waste of 120 bucks?
