Siri to play downloaded music as default?

I use a bluetooth kit whilst riding my motorbike to play music and control my phone.

Since subscribing to Apple Music Siri has become absolutely useless. Obviously I'm not on wifi when I'm out and about so Siri just says "Ooops, looks like you're not on wifi" or something to that effect. But I've asked to play music that I have downloaded? If I ask for an artist it'll often ask "Which one" before listing all the artists that have the same name on Apple Music (eg. "Play all songs by 'The Scratch' "). On the occasion where I ask to play a certain album Siri will play ALL the songs from the album not just the one's I've downloaded - not only using up my data (presumably) but also making the earlier comment about not being on wifi all the more confusing.

It's becoming absolutely infuriating. I don't have unlimited data so I download music to my device specifically for this very reason. Apple Music is a great service EXCEPT for this MASSIVE oversight.

Is there anyway to just make Siri use downloaded music only?!

Considering leaving Apple Music because of this.

your downloaded songd can be found at recently added, you can tell to siri that play recently added songs

That's incorrect info. Recently added is just songs I've recently added to my iCloud Library. I'm aware there is a downloaded music section - which is great when I have the phone in my hand. Even if that info was correct - I'm not going to always want to listen to my recently downloaded songs. I just want Siri to use my downloaded library, not my iCloud library.

I agree.  This is really annoying.  I don’t even have Apple Music and the same thing happens to me.  Try adding “in downloaded music” at the end of your command.  This has worked for me.  You are right, though, there should be a way around this.
