Logic X 10.2.4 Sidechain Issue

Hi,

I'm having an issue with plugin sidechain functionality. The link button is present on the effect control but no dropdown menu is present. I've activated the advanced tools preference, initialized settings, and changed the controls window size in hopes it would show up.  No luck.. Anyone worked through this issue before?
