Breathe Notifications

I have a new Apple Watch Series 3. Since I set it up on Friday, I am not receiving the set number of breathe reminder notifications. I currently have it set to 10 times a day. I will receive a reminder zero or sometimes one time per day. I have toggled the notification settings off and back on and have also changed the number of reminders. The problem remains unchanged. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the reminder notifications for the breathe app to start working?
