macOS help

Hi there... I really need help... I tried restoring my imac to its factory settings and I successfully did it but now the problem is I am trying to reinstall OS X Yosemite and it says that the product is unavailable... afterwards I tried downloading it through safari and it says there is no space on the disk

What operating system is installed now?

Nothing

It is still in the recovery mode...

The OS X Yosemite won’t install

I forgot to back up my imac...

Please help me... please

Follow these instructions to boot macOS Internet Recovery: How to install macOS - Apple Support. The key chord you must use will be one of the two with the option key. That will install the latest available macOS version for your Mac, which might not be Yosemite.

That is what I’ve been doing...

I don’t have a back up, I forgot to do that... I chose Reinstall OS X but when I press install, it says “The Item is unavailable”

It was supposed to download OS X Yosemite

If you are certain that you booted macOS Internet Recovery (you will see a "spinning globe" icon as the Mac starts up) then Contact Support.

My problem is that OS X won’t reinstall...

Because it says “ITEM IS UNAVAILABLE” when I choose the “Reinstall OS X” option on the OS X Utilities

And also, apple support needs me to give them the serial number of my imac, and I can’t because my imac is stuck in its boot setup...

The only thing I can see here is OS X utilities
