I want to know why my iPhone asked me for my CVC number every time I try to purchase an app or a free app

I understand that you're curious why the iTunes & App Store asks for your CVV card number every time you make a purchase whether it is free or otherwise. I would recommend reaching out to your bank first and ensure that there is nothing wrong on their end with the CVV or payment information. If everything checks out with the bank, I would recommend contacting iTunes for additional assistance with your account.
