I am unable to sync my iPhone to my new laptop ...

I have an iPhone 6 running on 10.3.3 and the news version of iTunes  - when I plug my phone into my laptop it does give me the start screen with the summary and the iPhone icon on the left - it shows me the library and that's all - how can I correct it to function correctly and let me sync my phone?

• iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows for the connection issue.
• Move your iTunes library to a new computer if you've not copied the library from your previous computer.
• Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device if you've not copied the library and it is no longer available.
