Macbook 12 how to upgrade to sierra

Hi, I have a macbook 12 with yosemite. How can I upgrade it to sierra? App store say : now updates available.

You won't find macOS Sierra in the updates section, click on featured and you should see it listed there.

This also depends on whether your Mac is supported in Sierra.

You will never find an upgrade from 10.n to 10.n+1 in the updates section. Going from 10.10.1 to 10.10.5 is an update; going from any version 10.10 to 10.11 or 10.12 is called an "upgrade" and requires you "buy" the new OS.
