MacOS Sierra and Outlook (Office for Mac 2011)

Dear,

after updating my Mac to MacOS Sierra, Outlook (Office for Mac 2011) is not able to launch anymore. I am afraid al my mail(and arrived mail) is lost. Can someone help to restore?

Please take into account that I am able to work with the hardware and software, but I am not a IT-professional.

1. Make sure you have installed all Microsoft Updates.

2. Hold the Option key down when you open Outlook and you should get the Identity Manager dialog; from there you should be able to rebuild your identity and set it as the default.

3. If none of that works, try Uninstalling Office 2011 for Mac and Installing Office for Mac 2011.

I had the same issue and rebuilt the identity and all is good.  Thanks!
