SMC

I HAVE A MAC AIR 13' 4GB (EARLY 2015) os-MacOS Sierra ,

My Mac got liquid spilled a long time ago (10-11 months) but after a few cleanups it turned on n works quite normally,

but processing is slow as compared to earlier, I have erased whole memory and changed OS many times, but still not got that real speed of it back. camera works well in Photo Booth but FaceTime app shows "Temperature video will resume when Mac cools down".

By diagnosis I found three issues

1: There may be an issue with the System Management controls (SMC)

     Reference code: PFM006

2: There may be an issue with the camera

     Reference code: NDC001

3: There may be an issue with the power management system

     Reference code: PPN001

I also tried to reset the SMC and PRAM but that also didn't worked .

I have also cleaned whole logic board with IPA solution but still not got that processing speed back.

What if I should buy a new SMC CHIP n replace the old one with it, will it be able to work?

The machine should be taken into an Apple store for evaluation.   The length of time it will take to show the effects of a spillage will vary widely as too will the amount of damage done.    Let the experts tell you about chips as they examone it.

Yes I've been there already, they told me that they have to change the whole MLB  and that will cost a little less than a cost of new MacBook Air .

Because all examples of spillage are viewed the same way, that is that Apple exclude water damage to macbooks, there is no alternative really.

You could do an etrecheck which may determine an errant part of the machine.   I think it is unlikely that people will advise you to follow the line of replacing chips.
