Where did these Apps come from? The Mac App Store?
How did you uninstall them exactly?
If you click and hold on the Apps in Launchpad until they all shake, does an appear in the corner you can click?
That should remove them from Launchpad.
Yes from The App store. I pressed the X but it doesn't remove them
How did you attempt to remove them originally?
Apps from the Mac App Store are deleted from Launchpad as explained above.
OS X Yosemite: Install, update, and uninstall apps
If you did something else, you may have corrupted the App install, and removing them will now be much harder. But we need to know exactly what you did, before we can help you undo it or at least complete the uninstall.
I had downloaded both apps from the app store. But I no longer needed them so I tried to delete them.
First I held on the icons in the launchpad till they shook then pressed the X to delete them. They were gone for a day, but the next day they were back in my launchpad. So I took the apps from the application folder in Finder and moved them to the trash. They were gone for a few days but then they came back but now have no icon just a ?.
See if this helps.
Just move them to the trash.
