Permanent iOS device backup issues on iTunes

After a year experiencing an important issue, investigated by Apple but unresolved, and after having waited for macOS High Sierra and iOS 11 updates in order to check for corrective actions, another test showed that the issue is still there.

When backupping iOS devices on iTunes locally, iCloud photo library photos are stored in the backup, and this is using a HUGE amount of SSD storage memory, a real waste of it.

This is not consistent with Apple support specifications (i.e.: https://support.apple.com/it-it/HT204136).
