Best quality external monitor with speakers for...

I am seeking a 21, 24 or 27 inch anti-glare monitor that has the best quality resolution with regard to color, text, contrast that I can easily connect from my Macbook Pro (Late 2011). I prefer to be able to use ine cable versus dongle life. Bonus is if it is adjustable height but not necessary. I also would like it to be one with a good reputation for possible resale. My 2011 Macbook Pro (Late 2011) only outputs 1920x1080 I beleve, its the HD antiglare version - am I correct that all I can use then is a monitor up to that resolution?

I look at my screen all day so I need a great anti fatigue screen. Thank you.
