Where have my apps gone?

I cannot find my apps to edit on iTunes when I plug iPhone and iPad in to my Mac desktop to sync.  There are old apps that won't work with the new iPhone and I want to be able to manage them at all times.

Can someone tell me where the apps have gone??  They have simply disappeared from the library of apps...there is no way for me to find updated/old/unwanted apps any more.

With intro of iTunes 12.7 all app managent and updates are done on the device.

App's, App Support and App Management has been removed from the latest version of iTunes. You can now only access iOS App's on your iPhone and iPad by going directly to the App Store.
