Tried activation with I tunes but my IPad 2 won't activate. Lost it suddenly on 9/9/17.

There seems to be rash of these Activation Required errors and seem to be affecting only iPad 2 models.

I have an iPad 2, but currently, it is unaffected by this issue.

So, clearly, this bug/glitch/error/issue hasn't affected every single iPad 2 still in existence and still running.
