Duplicating and renaming documents in IOS 11

Just recently upgraded to IOS 11 on my iPad Pro And updated Pages. I have several monthly billing documents for my small business in pages that I need to be able to duplicate and rename from month-to-month.  When I search by client name, the option to duplicate the file disappears.  It was only an option if I selected files without searching. This happened from the new file app that came with IOS 11.  This added several hours to an already long task. Any ideas?
