Keychain Problem (

Good Afternoon Fellow Mac Addicts

This is my problem: When I open Keychain Access and choose login>passwords, after entering my admin password, I am shown the following prompt:

Access to this item is restricted.

(-67701)

I have tried everything I know, but, cannot figure this out.

I am running OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) on my old, but much loved iMac (20-inch, Early 2009)

Processor 2.66 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400 9400 256 MB,

I basically use this baby exclusively for my family history research and would really appreciate any help the community could provide. Thanks!
