How can I resume the download *WITHOUT* losing ...
I was trying to download a movie on iTunes. My connected isn't great, and the download stalled out at about 1.5 gigs of a 3.26 gig movie. I tried disconnecting wifi and reconnecting to get the download unstalled. Didn't work. Other devices on same router were working. So I shut down iTunes and restarted my computer. Download is unstalled, but instead of resuming from 1.5 gigs, it started downloading all the way from 0. Looking to avoid that in the future.

Hello GB
I clicked on your link, but I get a "access denied" message.
If you happen to know the solution for this, can you please share with us again?
I have tried using iTunes Menu "resume or check for available download" but as ChadF... has said, I would like to resume from where iTunes left off.
I googled but could not find satisfactory solutions for this issue.
Thanks in advance.
Samuel

Hello,
thanks for the kind reply.
But in my case, this problems is still not fixed.
I always have to restart the download all over again, since it doesn't work as it should and as described.
So whenever iTunes stops, I have to discard the already downloaded amount of the file....
Thanks anyway!
I get the same issue. Resume doesn't actually resume download, it starts download from scratch. It's frustrating, as I have a very slow and intermittent internet connection, and I've been trying to download a +2Gb update since yesterday, but I get interrupted halfway through. Is there any working solution for this?
Thanks
In case of system restart, how to save the data already downloaded so as to not start over and lose the data previously saved. Obviously, "GB", the support text does not cover this. This question is still yet to be answered.
