The remote icon is missing from the current ver...

I have used remote from my iPhone forever.  The latest version of iTunes/Mac (12..6.2.20) no longer has the remote button so I can not re-pair my phone with iTunes on my Mac.  Very annoying!  Please fix.

The Remote app should still be working with Mac OS 12.6.2. It's been a while since I went through the pairing process, but I do remember that the icon that appeared in iTunes was very tiny — near the top left of the iTunes window, just to the right of the pull-down selector for Music/Movies/Podcasts etc.

If you try the process again and still aren't seeing this, post a follow-up, and tell us a bit more about your iPhone: the model, and what version of iOS it's running.

Make sure the computer and the phone are using the same wifi. the icon will pop up on iTunes , while you are in the phone app.
