itunes/bill

I was charged $31 for something but bought nothing and can't get through to anyone to discuss this

How have you been trying to contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) ?

 

You've checked the purchase history on your account e.g. you didn't have any auto-renewing subscriptions and/or pre-orders that were due ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it, click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

 

If you don't recognise the item, and no else has access to your account or devices and made it, then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : https://reportaproblem.apple.com

 

If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : https://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

How do I check a charge on my itune account?



To view your account's purchase history log into your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, and click the 'see all' link to the right of the Purchase History section

Have you tried logging at your accounts purchase histories on your computer's iTunes ? Including family members accounts if you are a family organiser in family sharing ?

I have a 53.43 charge and I do not even knew how my account number got on this account?



Where are you seeing this 'charge' ? Does it show on your iTunes account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
