Hide not compatible app updates in the App Store

Hi there,

This is both a question and a suggestion for Apple.

I have an iPad 4th generation, so it can't be upgraded to iOS 11. I use iOS 10.

Now there app updates showing up on the App Store, which I can't apply, because they are not compatible with my iOS version.

It is quite annoying and frustrating to have these updates signalled in the Store. So here are the question and the suggestion:

1 - is there no way I can hide the update notification? I don't want to hide the App, I still use it. I just want to hide update notifications that don't matter to me;

2 - Can't Apple make an update to the iOS 10 App Store so it doesn't show updates that are not compatible with the iOS version?

Hope someone can help (most of all Apple itself)
