I own a mid-2012 Macbook Pro.

Earlier this afternoon, I had it in my backpack (in a specially made pocket for laptops) and I had just put the pack down on a bus bench when my top-heavy backpack decided to do a somersault onto the concrete. It wasn't until I got to my destination and turned it on that I realized that one of the corners of the screen had been dented in the fall.

The computer seems to run just fine. The glass in the screen isn't even cracked at all. The bent metal of the corner seems to be the only damage. It seems like the only worrisome thing is that the bent corner scrapes against the computer itself when I open or close it.

Still, should I be worried?
