Ipad pro 12.9 with Apple keyboard keeps opening...

Ipad pro 12.9 with Apple keyboard keeps opening up with the screen flashing rapidly and clicking. This has happened twice, both times when it was off and not being used. The only way to stop it is to separate the ipad from the keypad. Anyone else had the same issue?
