Disk drive size
I have recently replaced the hard drive in my 2009 iMac 24". The new drive is 1TB. Having restored from backup drive disk utility is only displaying one 499GB drive. In terminal I ran diskutil list and the following was the result:
/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):
#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER
0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk0
1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1
2: Apple_HFS Macintosh HD 499.2 GB disk0s2
3: Apple_Boot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk0s3
Any ideas how to reclaim the missing 500GB?
Many thanks!
