iMac White Screen Issue

I have iMac 2008 (20-Inch, Core 2 Duo, 320GB, 6GB RAM) OS X Yosemite.

A few days ago, the computer froze. Ever since, when it is turned on, it goes to the Apple logo and then becomes "white screen" (like many people have been reporting online).

I've tried the following to fix the issue, but none of them worked so far. Please help me.

1) Disconnecting all peripherals

2) Safe Mode

    (※ Safe Mode boosts and all files appear to be intact. )

3) PRAM

4) Run Disc Utility --- all verified to be working properly

5) Terminal Commands in Single User Mode

    fsck –fy and /sbin/fsck -fy

6) Reinstalling OS X
