Cellular version of Apple Watch (series 3) for ...

Good morning! If I buy a cellular version of the Apple Watch from an american Apple Store or from France, will it be able to be used in Italy by separating the one afar from my iPhone to make outgoing and incoming calls with my number, even this version of Watch won't be sent in Italy? Is this Watch able to be used with the italian carriers? Thank you!

Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular) is not locked to any specific carrier and has a built-in eSIM that copies information from the iPhone's SIM card.

 

The cellular features require a carrier plan that includes support for Apple Watch.

 

If buying Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular) in another country, you would need to buy a model that supports the relevant LTE and UMTS bands for your country and your supported carrier in that country.

 

There are three different regional versions of Apple Watch (GPS + Cellular), each supporting different LTE and UMTS bands, as detailed here:

 

 

Also keep in mind that warranty service may be restricted to the country in which Apple Watch is originally purchased:
