APFS with DiskManagement error

Guys, I have a 2010 iMac that has a home-made fusion drive inside, last night I was able to upgrade to High Sierra beta 17A352a using a USB bootable installer.  It never asked me if I wanted to migrate to APFS and so I booted into  with another High Sierra OS installed on an external firewire drive.  Using disk utility I started to convert to APSF but the process failed in the end.  The below is what I copied and I would like to know what do I have to do to successfully convert the file system.  My new and last attempt will be to boot into recovery mode and see if it'll work that way.  If you can point me in the right direction, I will very much appreciate it!  Thank you..!

Converting HFS Volume to an APFS Container which exports one APFS Volume

Unmounting disk2

Starting conversion from HFS to APFS

Performing apfs_hfs_convert -x -v --efi /usr/standalone/i386/apfs.efi /dev/disk0s2 /dev/disk1s2

As you are using High Sierra and it is in Beta you should be aware that you are not allowed to discuss Beta software, this is according to the T&C's that you agreed to in order to download the Beta.

So is every blogger and media outlet out there who post reviews or opinions on new versions. This clause is insane.

And.
