How can i REMOVE album art from miniplayer in i...

is it possible to get the 'old' look back to the miniplayer. that is without the album art?

i know most posts are asking the opposite...where has the album art gone, etc.

i want the opposite. i've tried control, command, option + click.

The album art is show twice. Try clicking on smaller version next to controls.

jim- i'm not sure what you mean.

i click the miniplayer button in itunes top right to show.

same type button in top left of miniplayer to disappear it

and see itunes full version.

clicking on album art within play window also shows miniplayer.

i just don't know what

Sorry for not being more precise.

If you open mini play and use mouse pointer to hover over album sleeve. When you do this, the song title and player controls are displayed

i had the same problem, 4 years later.  Anyone remember nice and tiny WinAmp?  The kind person's previous answer did not work for me.  I was considering removing ALL ALBUM ART FROM ITUNES.  Then, I just got mad and started messing with it, found a stretchy arrow for resizing on the bottom border of the mini player field.  Grabbed that, and just 'squished' the art right off the screen! LOL!!!   How's that?

iTunes V. 12.7.0.166 four years later, and I'm having the same problem.  The kind person's answer didn't work for me.  I was considering removing ALL ALBUM ART from ALL iTunes.  Then I just got mad and started messing around and found a resizing arrow on the lower border of the mini player, i grabbed that and just 'squished' it 'North' off the screen.  How's that?  Please Note:  this only works for standard programs; i.e. browsers, windows, as for Games.....outta luck.

Keep at it Apple, but for Heaven's sake-give the people the choice!
