is there anyway to restore a backup created on ...

I’m having a problem on restoring my backup(10.3.3) on my ipad. i sent my ipad to apple services because of battery issue.  when my ipad return it is on ios 10.2 and I’m having a problem restoring my old backup.  as show in the picture.

now i have updated my ipad to ios11 now.  and I’m wondering if my backup will be restored. 

If you have updated your iPad to iOS 11, then you will be able to restore the 10.3.3 backup to it. You can restore an older backup to a newer iOS device, you just cannot restore a newer backup to an older iOS device, as you have found out.

Yes. You can restore the backup to iOS 11.

 

The reason it would not work before was that the iPad had an operating system that was older than the operating system that the backup was created with.
