Messages MMS Issue

Hello Everyone,

I have a strange issue that Google has failed to help me with. I have Messages on OS Sierra set up to receive SMS messages, as well as iMessages from my iPhone 6s Plus. Now, when I receive an iMessage on my iPhone, it comes through on my MacBook Pro as well, which is fine. However, if that message contains an image, it comes through fine on the phone but as a 'blank' file on the MacBook. It does title the file as IMG_999.png, but doesn't preview it, or allow me to open it.

It's a small issue, but still annoying!
