How can I sync icloud bookmarks with Microsoft ...

Hi, I have this question since upgrading my system to Win 10 with Edge internet browser. I need to online sync my bookmarks between iPad, iPhone and a notebook with Windows 10.

Please, help!!!

That is completely false. icloud desktop app for windows sync IE, Chrome and Firefox but not the Edge browser. The way Apple operates it will probably take years to get added.

i hope apple updates iCloud sync too soon. i really hate Chrome, it is the shittest browser ever...i never liked it from the start but have to use it so all my favourites are synced. i cant see what everyone raves about!? i have so many web sites crash or work properly when on chrome. view them in safari or EDGE and boom! everything works and displays perfect!

So now its October, iCloud for windows 6.0 is out and this is still an issue!!!

There is a reasonable workaround for now. Sync your Safari and Internet Explorer bookmarks using iCloud for Windows. Then sync your Internet Explorer and Edge bookmarks in Win10.

More than a year later and Microsoft added a way in the creators update for Windows 10. Enable iCloud Sync for Internet Explorer (I know you've already tried that stay with me).

Run gpedit.msc using Windows Key + R to open the Group Policy Editor. Navigate to Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Microsoft Edge and set "Keep favorites in sync between Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge" to "Enabled".

Voila, restart Edge and give it a minute to check IE for bookmark changes and you'll see the iCloud bookmarks! The icons are a little weird at first but after I navigated to the links Edge updated the icons to be correct.

NOTE: This workaround only appears to sync when Edge starts up. It's a little bit of a drawback, but it still works nicely.
