Can’t use 1000baseT on MacBook Pro Yosemite
I have a Gigabit-capable Airport Extreme Base Station and MacBook Pro. I have CAT6 cables on the modem, the Base Station and the MacBook. But Network Hardware will not run 1000baseT (manual configuration); it says the Ethernet cable is disconnected, etc. The automatic configuration defaults to 100baseTX. IPv6 on the base station is set to “link-local.”
