Apple Watch Series 3 LTE: Call/Navigation of Au...

Can anyone confirm that even with the LTE Series 3 watch, the keypad while available to use during a call still doesn't work for navigating automated voice systems?  I tried 3 different ones (my work voicemail system, a bank and a credit card company), and while the keys "sound", they did not seem to be recognized by the various automated systems.  I see this was an existing limitation for the previous Watch models.
